Basic iPhone 13.
Apple has unveiled the iPhone 13 smartphone for autumn 14 September 2021. The basic 6.1-inch
iPhone is traditionally the most interesting – firstly, it's not as expensive as the Pros. Secondly, it has
an unusual camera with a diagonal sensor arrangement (not to be confused with the previous
Let's talk about the device in more detail.
Apple unveiled the new iPhone on 14 September. Pre-orders start on 22 September. Sales in Russia
are scheduled to start on 24 September.

Citilink, Svyaznoy, re:Store, Apple)
The gadget has a top-end chipset, more memory, and a cooler camera. More about everything
iPhone 13 processor
The entire iPhone 13 range will be powered by the mighty Apple A15 Bionic. This is a 5nm SoC.
What's the advantage? The numbers in the tests, as well as the power efficiency (and this is
important, considering that the new iPhones will get screens with a refresh rate of 120 Hz). The
smartphone will run fast.
The size is the same as the iPhone – it's a 6.1-inch OLED panel with about 20% reduced power
consumption. That's fine. Even great. What's new? The basic iPhone 13 has nothing… The refresh
rate is the same outdated 60Hz. Dynamic LTPO display at 120 Hz, and even with an adaptive refresh
rate is destined only for the Poshkas.
The only difference is that it is brighter, by as much as 28%.
The good news is one thing. The screen is better protected. The new generation Ceramic Shield
ceramic glass is sure to be even tougher.
Face ID fringes
Annoyed by fringes with Face ID? The bad news for you (and we like it, so nothing bad for us) is that
the fringes will stay. The good news is it will get smaller. All because the speaker has been moved
higher closer to the bezel. The sensors themselves (apart from the selfie camera) have also become
The iPhone 13 uses a new camera module with a diagonal arrangement of sensors. The lenses have
gotten bigger. And that means they capture more light. Up to 47% more! More light means better
image quality. Especially when it comes to night shooting. The camera is still dual. There's optical
sensor shift stabilization. All sensors support night mode.
There is also a portrait mode for video!
Sound is still cool.
No Touch ID in iPhone 13
The iPhone 13 doesn't bring back the fingerprint scanner. Alas. We have to wait for iPhone 14. And in
the age of masked modes… Apple, how could that be?!
The sore spot of any iPhone is the small battery. Did they fix that in iPhone 13? No. But the battery is
bigger than the iPhone 12, instead of 2815 mAh inside, the battery is 3095 mAh.
The iPhone 13 lasts 2.5 hours longer than the iPhone 12.
Fast charging? It will. Power? Unlikely below 30W. Wireless? Under 15W. Not forgetting MagSafe
And best of all, there's going to be reverse charging.
Apple didn't save the 64GB version. The base variant is the smartphone with 128GB of flash memory.
The top-end version now comes with 512GB. However, if you're short on storage, iCloud is here to
Connectivity: There's a 5G modem, of course. But we do not need it – there is still no 5G in the RF.
And if it appears in time for the release of iPhone 15, it's good.
Satellite communication: only for emergencies.
eSIM: is retained, but there can only be one physical SIM.
Vibrator: is, of course, retained.
Dimensions: the same as the iPhone 12. The weight has not increased either.
Parameters in the list (it's more convenient).
SoC: A15 Bionic
The display: 6.1 inch OLED at 60 Hz
Flash memory: 128GB, 256GB, 512GB
Rear camera: dual, optically stabilised with sensor shift, captures 47% more light.
OS: iOS 15
The rest: Touch ID is not worth waiting for, 5G will be there (but in RF almost nowhere works)
